Whether as party representatives or arbitrators, we have many years of experience in conducting international arbitration proceedings in amongst others post M&A, construction, commodity trading and IP/IT related disputes under the most common arbitration rules, such as those of the ICC, LCIA, DIS, SCC and VIAC, as well as in ad hoc proceedings.

Together with our clients, we develop a sound litigation strategy, weigh up the litigation and cost risks and, where appropriate, consider alternative, economically sensible dispute resolution methods such as mediation, conciliation, or negotiation. After successfully conducting proceedings, we assist our clients in the enforcement of their claims.

We advise on and represent our clients in all general civil law matters, such as contract law, tort law and warranty law, but also in special matters such as tenancy law, residential property law and consumer protection law.

We advise both employees and employers on all aspects of individual and collective employment law. From drafting and negotiating individual contracts over implementing collective instruments to conducting contentious proceedings in court - we enforce our clients' interests with foresight. Equal rights are particularly important to us, which is why we also focus on advising on issues relating to parental leave.

We advise our clients on estate planning and asset succession and assist them in the drafting of testamentary dispositions, such as wills or legacies. We further represent our clients in all stages of probate proceedings or in connection with inheritance or compulsory portion claims. In doing so, we consider not only the legal but also the family dimension of inheritance law proceedings.

We advise our clients on trademarks, designs, and patents, on copyright issues and in connection with unfair competition. We register the relevant intellectual property rights, draft license agreements, and enforce our clients' interests both in and out of court as well as before international authorities. In addition, we can draw on years of experience in IT law, particularly in the areas of social media, data protection, cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.
